What is Nutrition?

Nutrition is a process by which organisms consume and utilize food substances. The organisms ingest, digest, absorbed, and utilizes food and discard the end product. Nutrition is an important part of every individual. Efficient management of food intake and nutrition is key to good health. Nutrition is the way we acquired fuel and energy for our body

Food:

Any substance that proved nutritional support for an organism, something that provides nutrients, something that keeps alive organisms. The origin of food is plants and animals and food contain essential nutrients such as carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals.

Nutrients:

Nutrients are compounds in food that proved nourishment essential to life and health. Nutrients are molecules that are important for organisms to make energy, grow, and develop. There are two types of nutrients such as macronutrients and micronutrients. macronutrients composed of carbs, fats, and protein and micronutrients contains vitamins and minerals. Nutrients play important roles in the maintenance of good health.

Macronutrients:

Nutrients that required in large amount is known as macronutrients. There are three types of macronutrients such as carbohydrates, protein, and lipids. These are metabolized into chemical energy and chemical energy is converted into cellular energy this cellular energy is then used to perform work, allow our body to perform their basic functions.

 

 

Micronutrients:

Nutrients that are needed in less amount but still essential for body functions. Micronutrients including thirteen vitamins and sixteen minerals.

What is Good Nutrition?

Good nutrition is the key to good mental and physical health. Good nutrition means to get all the essential minerals, vitamins, and nutrients in correct amount Good nutrition and physical activity are important to maintain good health. Types and amounts of foods affect body function.

Importance of good nutrition:

A famous saying ‘’you are what you eat’’. Healthy eating is considered all about less intake of fried food, fewer sugar intakes, and more vegetables and fruits. When it comes to good nutrition many of us don't know about good nutrition and how it achieved. Your food choice affects your today, tomorrow, and future health status. Good nutrition is important for a healthy lifestyle. your food choices help you to maintain a healthy weight, reduce the risk of disease, and promote overall health.

Good nutrition can help:
